Treaty is about who makes the decisions. We are all better off when we are free to set our own course for our families and our communities – and Treaty puts First Nations people in the driver’s seat for the decisions that affect First Nations lives.

It was transparent, it was inclusive, and it was backed by thousands of First Nations Victorians who designed practical solutions for their kids and their Elders. That is something for every Victorian to be proud of.
